Can an existing NVR be used as the WorldSense Edge?
It depends on the hardware and how open the operating system is. Most closed commercial NVRs cannot run WorldSense Edge software directly. WorldSense can run alongside the existing NVR, while an open Windows/Linux recorder or server may qualify after technical assessment.
Does the customer need to replace existing cameras?
Usually not. WorldSense is designed for compatible IP camera streams. Brand, model, protocol, stream configuration, and network capacity are confirmed during site assessment.
What does WorldSense store in the cloud?
The Portal stores event indexes, permissions, device status, routing, and audit data. Complete recordings and event video evidence remain on the store Edge.
Does Cloud Brain retain keyframes used for AI?
No. Selected keyframes and extracted features are processed ephemerally for the inference request. The result is returned, and the inference inputs are not retained.
How do mobile and desktop users watch video?
WorldSense 365 verifies identity and camera permission, then routes the authorized client to the correct Edge. Live video, playback, and event evidence are delivered directly from that Edge over WebRTC.
Does WorldSense guarantee zero false alarms?
No responsible video system should promise zero false alarms. WorldSense filters candidate events using time, zone, sequence, multiple views, and AI reasoning so alerts carry more context and evidence. Results also depend on camera position, image quality, network, and configuration.
Does WorldSense support USB cameras?
Yes. A supported USB camera can connect directly to the WorldSense Edge and be used alongside compatible network cameras. The number of cameras and available resolutions depend on the Edge computer and USB bandwidth.
